***BUILD PLANS – PDF DOWNLOAD***

A couple years ago I built a hexagon cutting jig. It’s adjustable and can cut out hexagons any size. I have plans available for the hexagon jig but I get a lot of requests for either a pentagon jig or an octagon jig. So, instead of building a dedicated jig for each shape, I designed this polygon cutting jig. With this jig, you can cut any geometric shape you want on the table saw, big or small. Cut a pentagon, hexagon, octagon or even a heptagon.

These downloadable plans include 9 pages of detailed information including: dimensions, cut list, 3D assembly diagrams, materials lists, step-by-step instructions, tips and other resources (including the angles required to cut various geometric shapes).

The full list of tools and materials recommended for this build can be found in the project tutorial.

The plans are designed to be used in combination with the YouTube video which provides step-by-step instructions.

Jig dimensions: 26″ x 24″

*Measurements in the plans are imperial, not metric.

That really is a nice jig. I usually can just try and replicate it but I thought why not give a little credit and a little coin 🙂 I really like the adjustment as have found nailing of screwing the fences off always seems to mess it up with the adjustable it is so nice to make a micro adjustment. Also the tip of the chamfer is great as really thinking about the little saw dust. Nice work. Thanks
