Need more room to hang coats and jackets? This modern free standing coat rack is the perfect stylish DIY solution. With a double-tree design, it can handle multiple garments.

You’ll need only minimal materials for this build: a few 2x2s and a 1×2. I used ash wood, but the choice of wood is yours. The assembly is made through a series of lap joints that can be cut on the table saw or miter saw.  See all the recommended tools and materials in the written article here.
