Tools: simple assembly using regular wood screws. Recommended tools include a track saw or circular saw with homemade guide rail, as well as a router and straight bit. See all the recommended tools and materials in the written article here.
Materials: all you’ll need for this build is a single sheet of 3/4-inch plywood, 4 inch casters, plastic bins (optional), and screws.
These downloadable plans include 12 pages of information including: detailed cutting diagrams (including rough cuts that can be made at the store for easy transport), dimensions, 3D color-coded assembly diagrams, materials lists, step-by-step instructions, tips and other resources.

I love this design. The plans are incredibly detailed and go well with the Youtube video. You won’t be disappointed and the price is a bargain. Definitely worth checking out!

I built this yesterday, the drawings are very well done and easily worth the price. The design is very efficient in its use of material but also in its footprint, the square base is much more manageable in a small garage shop than the longer lumber carts.

Downloaded now and all measurements are imperial (not really useful for me)… it would be helpful if you have a size guide in mm also. Thank you.

Fantastic plans! Easy to follow and the cart is the perfect size for my tiny garage.

Very easy to follow plans. I always buy plans, even when they may not be all that necessary, to support the creator. Some of the land from others can be complicated, these are very clear. This carts parts were cut in a matter of a few hours, then spent a leisurely day on dados, paint, and assembly. It stores quite a bit of wood for its size. Sits outside, protected by rafter/Eve roof overhang. Came back to get miter station plans and I see several others I’m interested in.

Best plans on Miter Saw, Drill Press table out of 3 plans I have bought. These plans have small footprints yet has all ( extension wings ), drawers ( no plans but build is in Youtube ).

Excellent plans!!!! Very well laid out with cutting diagrams and 3-dimensional views. Goes hand-in-hand with her excellent YouTube video. After this project is completed, I plan on building her router table next.

This is such a great idea. A compact wood cart. I was storing all my wood in two utility shelves. Not the best solution, it took up so much space. This design is perfect. I ended up using 1/2 ” wood instead of the 3/4 ” plywood. I forgot to take into account the change in dimensions. I ended up being creative to make it work. But I still love the design and still looks great. Even with repurposed wood.

I’m in the process of making your compact cart and have learned of a few things of interest along the way. Thanks

Excellent cart design. Holds plenty of wood.
Fit my needs exactly as I have an ‘on the wall’ woodworking system in my garage where I share the space with my vehicle in between projects.

Plans were right on…especially the cutting diagram. I built this cart according to the plans and everything came out perfect! The cart had lots of room for all my scrap wood and was able to be tucked away nicely. Highly recommended! Thanks!

The plans and the youtube video made this project an easy build. Now my small garage shop has no more clutter! ???? Thank you, well done.

Outstanding design! I can’t believe how much wood can be stored and is easily visible. I expanded the width to 36 inches and omitted the divider in the rear section to allow for wider plywood. Couldn’t be happier. Worth the price of the plans.

I searched for equivalent plans, but none would have fit my shop as well as your project. With some help from the big box store to cut the 4 x 8 sheet into what would fit in my car, completing the plans took about 4+ hours. I spent a lot of time cleaning saw dust… My only critique is to make the measurements in the plans ONLY inches for the folks in the USA, don’t use feet and inch measurements for such short measurements. Thank you for a great project!
